There are 2 alternative courses open for post graduates in our department. One is entering higher grades (Master's Program and Doctor's Program in advance), and the other is getting a job in companies or public organizations. Let us introduce the details.
1. Future courses
　
　Most of the graduate school students and about 50% of the undergraduate students get new jobs in private companies. The 40-50% of the undergraduate students enter the graduate school. Most of the "others" are those applying for a job from public organizations.
　
2. Offers from companies
　
　In the last three years, the number of offers that our department received from companies every year is changing. But total number of offers to our department is enough to the student number of the department.
　
3. Fields of future jobs
　
　Many graduates of our department get new jobs not only in metallurgical industries but also in other field of industries. This indicates that the graduates in our department have vocations for a variety of job fields.

4.Licences
　
○ Students are able to get a licence of "Industries" or "Science" to be a high-school teacher in Japan, mastering classes on teaching profession in addition to our graduate requirements.
○ Those graduated from Materials Science and Engineering Course are to be completed JABEE accredited engineering program and have qualifications to resister as Associate Professional Engineers in Japan. And also they are exempted from the First-step Examination to be Professional Engineers in Japan.
