Open Campus, which is an annual event intended to introduce our research activities for citizens, was held on Sat., Oct. 2, 2004. In spite of rain, about 150 people came to join us. Within our department, research group No.8, entitled "Experience of Making Castings", got an award for the best attraction by means of voting. This award was provided by the reunion party of the faculty.
