Graduate School of Engineering Science has been established to meet the present-day needs of the industrial and technological world for highly trained and wide-viewed engineers or researchers. Graduate School of and Engineering Science has 2-year Master's Program, followed by 3-year Doctor's Program. Almost half of graduates from Faculty enter Graduate School for master's degree.
　

Master's Program (For 2 Years)
　
　This program is for students who hold baccalaureates, i.e. former 2-year course for doctor's degree. Students belong to Department of Materials Science . This department consists of 2 divisions: Division of Materials Science, and Division of Materials Function. All the divisions are well equipped and fully backed up with comprehensive technical services to keep up with rapid progress of engineering. After a dissertation is submitted, a degree of Master of Engineering Science will be conferred.

Doctor's Program (For 3 Years)
　
　This program is for persons who hold a master's degree or who are recognized to have an equivalent or superior stand by the Graduate School, i.e. 3-year course for doctor's degree. Students belong to Division of Department of Integrated Engineering Science. This Division offers educations and researches on controlling and evaluating physical and chemical properties of new advanced functional materials, as far as on fabrication technology and process design for development of the intelligent manufacturing process of new advanced materials with required functions. After a doctor's thesis is submitted, a degree of Doctor of Engineering Science will be conferred.
